Big Bro Saucy is the private security camera app for the management team of The Saucy Cup cafes in New Jersey. It connects only to the camera system installed in our own stores. Only people with a Management account can sign in.
What the app uses
- Your phone number and PIN to sign in (the same account as The Saucy Staff app).
- The microphone, only while you hold the talk button, to speak through a store camera's speaker. Audio is sent live to the store and is not stored by the app.
- Face ID or your phone passcode to unlock the app. Face data stays on your iPhone.
Today screen
The Today screen shows Management which team members are clocked in and scheduled at each store today: their name, role and shift times, taken from The Saucy Staff. It never shows pay, wages or phone numbers. It also shows when each store's camera box last checked in.
Store video and audio
Video and sound come from cameras in our stores, which have signs telling visitors and staff that they are being recorded. Recordings stay on the store's own recorder and camera box. The app shows them to signed-in Management only.
What we don't do
We don't sell information, show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or share anything outside The Saucy Cup except when the law requires it.
